I am a Humanistic & Integrative Counsellor and Psychotherapist. I am predominantly Person-Centred in my approach, although I have also trained in various other approaches, and I integrate elements of other approaches into my work.
l believe we all have a tendency to make changes and move towards what we need in life, as long as we are provided with the core conditions to help facilitate these changes. I do believe that the core conditions I offer can facilitate self-awareness and growth in clients.

Life throws many surprises at us, and while we cannot predict the outcome of any situation, we can take control of how we respond to certain situations. With my counselling sessions, you’ll learn about acceptance and how to exert your power of choice over whatever life may throw at you.

Learning and developing your self awareness can have a major positive impact on your life and well-being. Becoming aware of triggers and behaviours within your self can improve and support how you perceive the world and how you deal with others and situations. Learning to self care and self love can aid your view on yourself and others and feel at peace with yourself, we often feel judged or judge others heavily, when we are in total acceptance of our self or strive towards this acceptance, the views and need to be accepted by society or individuals is no longer needed.

Childhood and past experiences can have a major impact on how we live our lives as adults, learned behaviours and reactions can follow us into our adult lives and sometimes have a negative effect on our lives relationships and self development in order to reach our full potential. becoming aware of these behaviours can aid how we live our lives and support us in living a fulfilling life as a fully functioning individual.
